About this project

Green Horizon manufactures its own interiors for a 63-unit building on Island A

The developer behind Meriden Beach Residences owns a 200,000 square foot (roughly 18,500 sqm) fit-out factory in Ras Al Khaimah. That industrial detail says more about this project than any brochure copy could. Green Horizon Developments is building a compact block on Island A, part of Dubai Islands: ground floor, a two-level podium, eight residential floors and a landscaped roof. There are 63 apartments in total, ranging from one to three bedrooms, sold on a freehold basis. Handover is scheduled for 30 March 2028.

Westwood Interiors, the workshop behind the finishes

Most Dubai developers buy their joinery and kitchens from subcontractors, which is often why the show apartment ends up looking different from the unit that actually gets handed over. Green Horizon does things differently: its subsidiary Westwood Interiors manufactures, finishes and furnishes the units at its own Ras Al Khaimah plant. The group states it has more than 15 years of activity spanning the UK and the UAE, with boutique hotels in London in its portfolio. It claims more than 1,000 units delivered and seven projects completed ahead of schedule, figures supplied by the developer itself and worth checking against RERA records. Development management has been handed to Refine, a UAE-based company that markets a model it calls "Development-as-a-Service".

Italian quartz, Miele and Bosch in the kitchen

The brochure names actual brands, which at least gives buyers something concrete to check. Kitchens are built around an Italian quartz island, fitted with Miele and Bosch appliances. Floors are finished in Italian porcelain tile. Walls carry textured wallpaper, and storage is custom-built, with fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. Bathrooms pair rose gold fixtures with quartz accent walls and mood lighting. The overall palette stays neutral, in stone and sand tones.

Cantilevered balconies that shape the facade

The building follows a contemporary Mediterranean style. Its facade is built on curved lines and cantilevered balconies that ripple from floor to floor, a nod to ocean waves. These projections aren't purely decorative: they widen the sightline toward the coast from each unit. Floor to ceiling windows open straight onto the terraces. A facade like this costs more to build than a straight block, and that's where the developer's execution track record will matter.

Three floors of amenities for 63 households

Shared facilities are spread across three separate floors, which is generous for a building this size. The first level combines an adult pool and a children's pool, two gyms (one indoor, one outdoor), a yoga and meditation terrace, a sauna and a hammam. The second podium is dedicated to leisure: mini golf, billiards, a table tennis lounge and a kids' activity area. The rooftop holds an infinity pool alongside a children's pool, a deck with a jacuzzi and a barbecue area with an outdoor lounge. With two children's pools and two play areas, the program is clearly aimed at families rather than short-term rental tenants alone.

Eight floors facing the towers of Dubai Islands

Several neighboring schemes on the archipelago go considerably higher: Bay Grove Residences reaches twenty floors, Wynwood has fourteen. Meriden Beach Residences stays at eight habitable levels, with a limited unit count that reduces competition between resellers within the same building. Island A sits three minutes from Infinity Bridge, which connects Dubai Islands to Deira. The nearest metro station and Deira City Centre are six minutes away, while DXB international airport and Al Ghurair Centre are ten minutes out. Downtown Dubai is a 22-minute drive, which ties the project to old Dubai rather than the Marina. Nakheel's master plan calls for hotels, a golf course and retail across the five islands, but their delivery timeline will determine how lively the neighborhood actually feels once this building is handed over.
