Al Zorah City stands apart from the rest of Ajman. The emirate is better known for dense corniche towers. Al Zorah takes a different path: a master plan of more than 5 million square metres built around open space, water and greenery. The project is led by the Al Zorah Development Company, a joint venture between the Government of Ajman and Solidere International. Its aim is to offer a calm, unhurried lifestyle that still sits within a short drive of the UAE's major cities.
Signature highlights
- Mangrove Natural Reserve: a protected habitat home to diverse birdlife and marine species. It has been expanded with hundreds of thousands of new mangrove trees in support of the UAE's pre-COP28 planting pledge.
- Al Zorah Golf and Yacht Club: an 18-hole Nicklaus Design course, widely regarded as one of the region's finest.
- The Beach Resort: the former Oberoi property, set to reopen in 2026 as the Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah.
- Zoya Health and Wellbeing Resort: a dedicated retreat for holistic wellness.
- Al Zorah Marinas: world-class berthing and sea rescue services.
The atmosphere blends a seaside village with a private members' club. Landscaped boulevards, low-rise villas, creekside residences and soft sandy beaches create a setting that is genuinely rare in the UAE. Initiatives such as the apiary at the golf club underline the community's commitment to sustainability and biodiversity.
