W Residences Tower 2 at Dubai Harbour

Second tower of the W trio: 41 residential floors sitting on a nine-level podium

Arada Properties is selling Tower 2 of W Residences at Dubai Harbour, with handover set for 31 December 2028. The homes span 41 floors plus a rooftop level, sitting above a nine-level podium shared with its two neighbouring towers. Across the three towers, the scheme totals more than 400 homes carrying the W brand from Marriott. The unit mix runs from one-bedroom apartments to a five-bedroom two-storey penthouse, with three and four-bedroom duplexes in between. The project is freehold, meaning foreign buyers can hold full ownership.

Nine levels of shared podium across three towers

The shared podium holds the parking, the lobby and almost all the amenities. This has a direct consequence: Tower 2 residents get the same facilities as those in Towers 1 and 3, with no hierarchy between the buildings. The design is built around three horizontal lines, the promenade, the harbour and the sky, which the facades echo. Diagonal lines let the towers appear to touch visually at certain points. The facade uses a rhythmic pattern and a lighting system built specifically for the project. The complex is targeting LEED Silver certification, with EV charging and management of water, energy and waste.

Duplexes in the middle, private pools at the top

Tower 2 places its three and four-bedroom duplexes in the middle section of the building rather than at the top, which is often the norm. The top floors are reserved for five-bedroom, two-storey penthouses fitted with private pools. Floor plans also list a five-bedroom unit described as the "Presidential". Every home has floor-to-ceiling windows and home automation as standard. The brochure states that the washer-dryer, cooker and hood are included at no extra cost. Typical floors hold seven to eight units, which keeps the number of neighbours per landing low.

200 metres of pool and a recording studio

The infinity pool on the podium, named WET, runs over 200 metres long. Arada markets it as one of the longest in the city, with a pool beach, sunken lounge areas and a barbecue space. The most unexpected amenity is the Sound Suite. This private studio includes a lounge, a live room and a mixing booth, built with bands, DJs and musicians in mind. A bookable screening room, a games room with a sports simulator and a 170 sqm Residence Lounge (a coworking space by day, a lounge by night) round out the offering. On the fitness side, the 43,000 sq ft (roughly 4,000 sqm) Wellfit centre is billed as the largest in the Dubai Marina area.

Marriott Bonvoy status and the Whatever/Whenever service

The W brand brings tangible hotel-style services. The Whatever/Whenever concierge runs around the clock, with valet parking and guest suites for visiting family or friends. Owners also get access to the ONVIA platform, which grants elevated Marriott Bonvoy status and preferential rates at a selection of the group's hotels. It also gives priority access to The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruises. For a buyer who travels frequently, these perks matter more than the amenity list, which is fairly standard along Dubai's waterfront.

Facing Bluewaters, ten minutes from Palm Jumeirah

Dubai Harbour sits on the coastal strip between Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, facing Bluewaters island. The area is home to the region's largest marina and to the Dubai Harbour Yacht Club, both reachable from the residence. Dubai Marina Mall and the Palm are about ten minutes away by car. Jumeirah Village Circle is 18 minutes away, and Dubai International Airport (DXB) is 25 minutes away. Residents get access to a private beach and a shopping mall. The immediate surroundings include other recent towers such as DAMAC's Bay by Cavalli, putting W Residences in direct competition within the branded residences segment.

Arada moves from Sharjah to Dubai's coastline

Arada Properties made its name in Sharjah with the large-scale Aljada and Masaar communities, mostly built around villas and townhouses. W Residences marks its entry into branded waterfront towers in Dubai, alongside Akala in Za'abeel. Tower 2 follows Tower 1 and precedes Tower 3, expected in 2029. This phasing lets buyers assess progress on the earlier phases before committing. It's also worth keeping in mind that the podium, the core of the whole offering, will only reach its full potential once all three towers are complete.
