Third and final phase of a 400-unit W branded scheme

The W Residences complex at Dubai Harbour comprises more than 400 units spread across three towers, and Arada Properties is now selling the third one. Handover is set for 31 December 2029, a later date than for the first two towers. For buyers, this means a later entry into a scheme whose shared podium, restaurants and retail will be split between all three buildings. The tower offers units ranging from one bedroom to a five bedroom penthouse with a private pool, all on a freehold basis. What sets it apart is a band of duplexes running through its middle section, a layout still uncommon along Dubai's waterfront.

The brochure sets out a three tier layout. The lower floors hold standard apartments starting at one bedroom. LEED Gold certification and a diagonal facade

The complex is designed to LEED Gold standard, an environmental performance rating few residential towers in the marina area can claim. The facade design is built around three horizontal lines: the promenade, the harbour and the skyline. Diagonal elements cut across this pattern and create the impression that the towers converge at certain points. The effect shows up best from the water and from Bluewaters. Interiors stay understated, working with a warm, minimalist palette that leaves room for owners' own furniture.

Dubai Harbour bills itself as the region's largest marina, and the tower sits within walking distance of the Dubai Harbour Yacht Club. Units on the view side look out over Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island and the Arabian Gulf. The area lies roughly 35 km from DXB airport and 40 km from Dubai World Central, putting both air hubs at a comparable distance. That location works for residents commuting toward Jebel Ali as well as those who keep a foothold in Downtown. For boat owners, direct proximity to the marina berths is an advantage hard to match elsewhere in Dubai.

Arada moves from Sharjah to the waterfront

Arada Properties built its name on large master planned communities in Sharjah, such as Aljada and the various phases of Masaar, where villas and townhouses dominate. W Residences marks a shift in direction: a hotel branded residential tower on highly contested coastal land. The partnership with the W brand, part of Marriott, brings service standards and international name recognition that carry weight at resale. This third tower will also be a test of the developer's ability to keep a complex vertical build on schedule. Cautious investors will want to track progress on the first two towers before committing to a late 2029 handover.
