Every apartment faces the sea, whatever its orientation

The claim rests on a rare technical detail. The three towers of Bay by Cavalli were designed so that no unit turns its back on the Arabian Gulf. DAMAC Properties is building a cluster of three structures (A, B and C), each made up of a ground floor, a podium, forty residential levels and a rooftop, for a total of 42 storeys. The project sits at Dubai Harbour, the waterfront district Dubai built between Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters. Handover is set for July 2027, on a freehold basis. The Italian brand Cavalli handles the interiors and visual identity, swapping its usual leopard print for shell, pearl and zebrafish motifs.

Cavalli trades the savannah for the ocean

Roberto Cavalli is known for animal prints. On this project, the house shifts register entirely. The interiors drop the animal patterns in favour of a marine vocabulary: mother-of-pearl, shell shapes, light tones. The stated materials are natural stone and a pale colour palette, punctuated with decorative elements. A Cavalli-inspired walkway wraps around the towers at their summit, like a sea serpent. The lobby leans into an underwater theme, with chandeliers, tall glass facades and wall features that evoke the seabed.

The podium and rooftop concentrate the amenities

DAMAC has split the amenities across two key levels. At the top, each tower gets its own infinity pool, along with floating workstations for those who want to work with the sea in front of them. An opera-style pavilion crowns the rooftop, with a giant central fountain synced to performances and visible from a distance. The podium houses a water maze, a snorkelling experience built around a Cavalli treasure hunt, a wave pool with surfing, and hammocks suspended above a pool. The brochure also mentions a virtual reality school where lessons are laser-projected onto a fountain, a feature aimed at residents' children.

A private beach at the foot of the towers

Direct access to a private beach is one of the project's central selling points. Residents get a reserved stretch of sand, lined with dining spots and bars. The Cavalli Lounge rounds out the offering with a relaxation space carrying the brand's name. This setup fits Dubai Harbour's purpose as the city's go-to marina district, built around a yachting atmosphere. Palm Jumeirah and the American University of Dubai are both five minutes away. Burj Al Arab, Mall of the Emirates, Ain Dubai and Ibn Battuta Mall sit around twenty minutes out.

Apartments below, duplexes at the top

The unit mix follows a clear vertical logic. From the 2nd to the 32nd floor sit one, two and three bedroom apartments. From the 33rd up to the 42nd floor, DAMAC reserves three, four and five bedroom duplexes, positioned as the top tier of the development. These upper units get open views over the sea and shoreline. This layout lets buyers set their budget based on the height and unit format they want. Expat families and buyers looking for a seaside second home make up the main target market.

DAMAC, 47,000 homes delivered since 2002

DAMAC Properties has been operating in the Middle East property market since 2002. The developer states it has delivered around 47,000 homes and holds a pipeline of more than 33,000 units under development as of 31 December 2023. Its model leans heavily on partnerships with fashion and design brands: Versace, de Grisogono, Paramount, and Cavalli on several occasions. Bay by Cavalli continues a naming pattern already used on other towers in the same district. For buyers, the brand functions as a positioning cue as much as a resale argument on Dubai Harbour's secondary market.
