390 apartments handed over furnished, each with its own private balcony pool

According to the brochure's summary sheet, Volga Tower holds 390 apartments spread across 40 residential floors, sitting on a ground floor plus four podium levels set aside for parking. Tiger Group is handing over every unit furnished and states that each one comes with a pool on its balcony, from the one-bedroom right up to the four-bedroom layouts. The site sits in Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), with handover set for December 31, 2026. As with the rest of the neighbourhood, the project is sold freehold. In other words, this is a mid-sized tower by JVT standards, but with a private feature rarely seen at this scale.

193 two-bedroom units and not a single studio

The unit breakdown is laid out clearly. Two-bedroom units account for 193 apartments, nearly half the scheme. One-bedroom units follow with 124 units (around 32%), then 36 three-bedroom and 37 four-bedroom units, which together make up just under 19% of the total. The lineup includes no studios at all, which sets Volga Tower apart from Red Square, Tiger Group's other JVT address, where studios make up a large share of its 836 units. This mix points more toward settled households than short-term tenants. The shared amenities follow the same logic: a large children's play area, barbecue zones in the garden, a beach-style outdoor pool, a gym, and jogging and walking tracks around the tower.

One pool per unit: what buyers should check

On paper, the balcony pool is the project's main selling point. The brochure repeats it across several pages and includes it for all four unit types, backed up by floor plans. For a buyer, this feature raises practical questions the document doesn't address. How deep are the pools, actually? Who handles water treatment and upkeep? What will this service add to the service charges? With 390 suspended pools, waterproofing and maintenance become a significant management item, and it's worth getting these answers in writing before putting down a reservation.

A wave-shaped facade inspired by the Volga River

The name is no accident. Tiger Group, a Russian-founded developer just like its neighbour Red Square, says the tower's design echoes the flow of the Russian river. In practical terms, the facade follows a wave-like line, and the balconies shift from one floor to the next. The brochure doesn't credit any architecture firm, which makes it impossible to tie the design to a known name. The interiors are described as contemporary with high-end materials, but the document stays vague on brands and exact finishes.

Tiger Group continues its JVT lineup

The developer isn't working on unfamiliar ground. It already runs Red Square in the same neighbourhood, along with Jade Tower in Majan, Nobles Tower, and the widely covered Tiger Sky Tower in Business Bay. Its projects share several traits: units handed over furnished, dense towers, and heavy marketing around one standout amenity. With just under ten units per floor on average, Volga Tower is less packed than Red Square and targets buyers looking for larger floor areas. The end-2026 deadline leaves little room for delay, so it's worth checking construction progress on site or through the Dubai Land Department.

13 minutes from JBR per the brochure, 10 per the fact sheet

The tower has direct access to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, one of the emirate's main north-south routes. The sales fact sheet quotes 10 minutes to JBR, Palm Jumeirah and Mall of the Emirates, but the brochure's map gives more conservative figures. It lists 13 minutes to JBR, 17 to Mall of the Emirates, 19 to Palm Jumeirah, 20 to Global Village and 23 to Dubai Mall. As with the rest of JVT, all these trips are by car, since no metro station is within walking distance. For a family tenant, this matters less than having schools and local shops nearby, and the project does plan two of the former at ground level.
