RAK Properties is developing Solera Downtown Mina, a two-tower residential complex in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah's new Downtown Mina district. Downtown Mina: harbour-front urbanism taking shape
The project anchors itself in Downtown Mina, a master-planned district on Raha Island currently under development. Tree-lined boulevards, pedestrian streets and a working marina define the area's character. Mina Boulevard runs steps from Solera's entrance, lined with cafés, retail and creative workspaces. The adjacent yacht club accommodates superyachts and leisure boats, adding a nautical layer absent from most Ras Al Khaimah residential schemes. Solera's unit mix spans studios (351 to 430 sqft), one-bedroom suites (611 to 1,128 sqft), two-bedroom apartments (1,167 to 1,685 sqft), three-bedroom units (1,678 to 2,125 sqft) and four-bedroom penthouses (3,253 to 3,264 sqft). Interiors follow a neutral palette with natural tones and minimalist layouts. Panoramic glazing frames views of podium greenery or open water. The range targets multiple buyer profiles: young professionals seeking compact city units, families requiring space, and investors looking at rental diversity within a single address.
40-metre infinity pool and podium skatepark
Podium amenities extend beyond the regional norm. The infinity-edge lap pool stretches 40 metres, oriented to catch evening light. A Flame Pavilion combines BBQ stations, bar counter and communal dining. The skatepark targets younger residents and visitors, a feature rarely seen in Ras Al Khaimah developments. A kids' splash pad, hammock garden and telescope corner round out the leisure offer. Covered gym and rooftop yoga pavilion separate indoor and outdoor fitness uses. The Nook functions as an integrated coworking space on the ground floor, with shared desks and a conference room. This targets remote workers and freelancers who would otherwise commute to Dubai or Sharjah. A dedicated dog park with green lawn addresses pet-owner demand, an increasingly common request in recent UAE projects. Walking paths and cycling tracks connect Solera to the wider Downtown Mina pedestrian network. Vehicle access to secondary streets is limited, reinforcing the walkable design principle.
