Tiger Group plants its first tower in Abu Dhabi, 37 floors handed over fully furnished on Reem Island

Renad Tower marks Tiger Group's first project in the UAE capital. Until now, the developer had kept its recent towers in Dubai (JVT, Business Bay, Majan) and in Sharjah. Here, it is building a 37 floor residential tower on Al Reem Island, with 265 apartments planned, all fully furnished down to the appliances. Handover is scheduled for September 30, 2026. The name comes from a desert flower, the renad, and the developer describes a facade blending Emirati architectural references with contemporary lines. For an investor, the main draw is a product already set up for rental, in an area where Tiger had no prior presence.

A builder founded in 1976 moves into a new emirate

Tiger Contracting Co. L.L.C. was founded in the UAE in 1976. It holds the "First Category" classification for construction firms, cites more than 47 years of activity and 270 completed projects across a group of around forty companies. Among the finished developments, the brochure lists The Square Tower, O2 Tower, Regina Tower, Blue Waves Tower and The V Tower. Current projects underway include Cloud Tower, Seslia, Nobles, Lilium, Altai and Neva. The model is a familiar one: Tiger builds what it sells and almost always hands over furnished units. Renad Tower follows the same formula, but in a market where the group has no finished building yet to show local buyers.

190 one bedroom units out of 265 apartments

The project summary leaves little doubt about the target buyer. The scheme counts 190 one bedroom apartments, 67 two bedroom units and only 8 three bedroom units. One bedroom apartments therefore make up nearly 72% of the total. This mix is aimed first at single tenants or couples working on Al Maryah Island or in central Abu Dhabi, and at investors who want to rent out quickly without furnishing the unit themselves. Large families are not the main target, even though the brochure highlights a play area. Retail units on the ground floor and basement parking are also mentioned, which limits reliance on outside services for daily needs.

Three bedroom units grouped at the top of the tower

The floor plans show a fairly clear vertical layout. The first floor contains only one bedroom units. Most of the typical floors (from the 2nd to the 25th, then from the 29th to the 35th) mix one and two bedroom units, with a variant layout on the 6th, 16th and 26th floors. The 27th floor is the only mid level floor offering all three unit types. The 36th and 37th floors are reserved for three bedroom units, which get the clearest views over the canals and the city. Worth noting: the published plans do not cover the 14th or the 28th floor, and the brochure does not explain their use.

The Galleria two minutes away, according to the map

The developer's map places The Galleria, on Al Maryah Island, 2 minutes from the tower. Abu Dhabi Mall is listed at 6 minutes, Al Reem Central Park at 8 minutes and Downtown Abu Dhabi at 12 minutes. The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Corniche Beach sit at 13 minutes, Saadiyat Beach at 18 minutes and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at 20 minutes. Yas Island and the international airport are given at roughly 25 minutes. These drive times come from the developer, by car and outside peak hours, and are worth checking on the ground, especially around the island's exits in the morning.

A pool billed as Olympic size, worth checking on the plans

On the amenities side, the brochure highlights a pool described as "Olympic size," with sun loungers and a poolside bar. The sales listing, meanwhile, refers to several pools. A 50 meter pool on a single tower plot on Reem Island would be unusual, so it's worth asking for the plan of the relevant floor before relying on this claim. The rest of the amenity package is more standard: an equipped gym, a children's play area, a garden with a walking path, lounge areas and barbecue spots, plus CCTV and covered parking. The interiors are described with wood and marble finishes, which, combined with the supplied furniture, make it possible to put a unit up for rent as soon as the keys are handed over.
