About this project
Oak, travertine and bronze: DHG Properties brings its Swiss-named Helvetia line to a tower in Bukadra
Helvetia Verde comprises 20 levels: a ground floor, two podium floors and 17 residential floors. DHG Properties is building it in Bukadra, the Meydan district now rebranded as Meydan Horizon, with handover set for March 2028. The developer ties the project to Helvetia, its residential collection named after the Latin term for Switzerland. The group points to a discipline of execution it attributes to its Swiss real estate background. On paper, the unit mix spans one, two and three bedrooms, with some layouts including a maid's room and a limited run of garden apartments. Ownership is freehold, in line with the rest of the district.
Seventeen residential floors above two podium levels
The scale stays moderate for Meydan Horizon, where several neighbouring towers rise above 30 storeys. The facade is marked by pronounced vertical lines and keeps a stripped-back look. The building makes use of its height through terraces facing Burj Khalifa and the Downtown skyline on one side, and the Ras Al Khor wetlands on the other. The brochure promises natural light throughout the day, a claim that will depend in practice on each unit's orientation. The working drawings reviewed carry the letterhead of studio two88studio and are dated July 2025, placing the design at a fairly recent stage.
63 one-bedroom units listed on the plans
The published plans show a mix weighted clearly toward smaller units. There are 63 one-bedroom apartments across three layouts, ranging from 79.63 to 85.71 sqm, sizes that run generous for this typology in Dubai. Standard two-bedroom units measure between 113.21 and 126.84 sqm and appear across 23 units, most of which (type 3) come with two balconies. Floors 13 to 16 switch to a different layout, with two-bedroom units placed at the corners. Every floor plan lists a base equipment package: fridge-freezer, combi oven, dishwasher, washing machine and a built-in niche for a 55-inch TV.
Unit 103, a 211 sqm two-bedroom with a garden
The project's distinctive feature sits at podium level. Unit 103 is a 211.01 sqm two-bedroom opening onto a private garden, nearly double the size of a standard two-bedroom elsewhere in the tower. DHG adds a small run of three-bedroom units also fitted with landscaped gardens, which the brochure describes as a stacked villa format. The exact number of these units is not disclosed. For a family unwilling to move out to Arabian Ranches or Dubai Hills, this format offers private outdoor space fifteen minutes from Business Bay. These units, few in number, are likely to sell first.
A material palette spelled out in detail
The brochure lists actual materials rather than relying on adjectives. It cites oak, travertine, bronze and marble, alongside textured wallpapers, mirrors and reflective surfaces. Tones stay neutral (soft beiges, muted greys), lifted by touches of gold and bronze. The brochure states that interiors are delivered furnished, a point worth clarifying in the sales contract since the scope of furniture is not detailed. The wording matches that used for Helvetia Marine, the other project in the line on Dubai Islands, suggesting a shared specification sheet.
Five minutes from Ras Al Khor, fifteen from Downtown
DHG cites 5 minutes to the Ras Al Khor sanctuary, known for its flamingos, and 10 minutes to Meydan Racecourse and Dubai Creek Harbour. Burj Khalifa and Business Bay sit 15 minutes away, DXB airport 20 minutes, Jumeirah Beach 20 minutes, Mall of the Emirates and Burj Al Arab 25 minutes, and Palm Jumeirah 30 minutes. The developer also states that the site will be connected to a future metro line, without giving a date or station name. That claim should be checked before treating it as a resale argument. The crystal lagoon of Meydan Horizon and its retail promenade sit close by, which supports rental demand in this still-developing district.
Pool, yoga and two fitness spaces
The amenities list is standard but well stocked. The building includes a pool with a pool deck and lounge, an indoor gym paired with an outdoor fitness area, and a yoga and meditation zone. At ground level, a landscaped garden with a picnic area, a children's play area and walking paths round out the offering. Ground-floor retail, a concierge service and smart home features in the apartments target working tenants. None of these amenities really set the tower apart from its neighbours in Bukadra. What distinguishes it are the private gardens and the generous sizes of the one-bedroom units.
