Golf Point sits right next to the 9th hole of Emaar South's championship 18-hole course. The project brings together two mid-rise buildings, one with 12 residential floors, the other with 13, each built over a ground floor and podium level and topped with its own rooftop. Emaar Properties is offering 1 to 3 bedroom apartments here, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the fairways and the clubhouse. Handover is set for 31 October 2028. Seven minutes from Al Maktoum International

Emaar South is Emaar's bet on the southern part of the city, an area taking shape around Expo City and the future major airport. Golf Point has direct access to the boulevard running through the district and to Emirates Road, the main artery of southern Dubai. Al Maktoum International, set to become the world's largest airport by capacity, is just seven minutes by car. Expo City, the site that carried on from Expo 2020, is ten minutes away. Dubai Marina and Downtown remain under thirty minutes off, reasonable enough for a district still under construction. The nearest metro station will depend on the future extension of the Blue Line, which has yet to materialize.

Every home facing the fairways

The intent is clear: maximize the golf view from every residence. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the green hills and manicured greens, with the clubhouse and driving range in the background. The contemporary facade rests on a palette of earthy tones, carried through indoors to create continuity between the building and the landscape. Emaar Properties has delivered more than 108,000 homes and has over 25,500 more under development, according to its figures as of end 2023. The group reports a market capitalization of around AED 70 billion and a presence in more than twelve markets. At Emaar South specifically, the developer keeps rolling out launches around the golf course, with neighbors such as Golf Acres, Golf Dale and the Expo Golf Villas. Golf Point fits into this gradual densification of the district, whose master plan Emaar controls in full. That land control limits unpleasant surprises on the built environment side, a concrete argument for an off-plan purchase due for handover in 2028.
